Well well, it's been while since I have updated the Ruby Jewel Blog and so much has been going on. We celebrated our 2 year anniversary at our "Space" as I like to call it. We had over 100 people with sausages, beer (Jubleale and Root), pretzels, and of course lots of ice cream. We made special fall flavors for the fun of it. We had Maple Pecan, Butterscotch run, Peppermint, Smores, Caramel, Cinnamon, and more! It was a great night of fun. We had a contest to see how many ice cream sandwiches were in the freezer and Britta from New Seasons was the winner- guessing 5200, and there were 5582 sandwiches in the freezer. She won a Ruby Jewel Sweatshirt and a case of ice cream. We also had a vanilla bean ice cream tasting contest and to see how we (Ruby Jewel) compared. Haggen Daz won. It is really good ice cream I have to say. It was interesting to get all the results though. And now, we are working on how to increase our business through the slower winter months and would like to focus on getting into more areas- like Southern California- possibly Arizona and New Mexico.
