3.20.08 The Happiest Place on Earth

What a trip- Exhibiting at the Natural Product Expo in Anaheim. I can almost describe it like going from Farmers Market shopper to Farmers Market vendor. And this journey too was done "with a lot of help from our friends". It started with Rachel- superstar designer who created an amazine first time booth, Shelby making an awesome "fake" freezer, Becky calling Nana (aka Pat Burnett, Ellie's grandma) to come up to Portland to help the hubbie with Ellie. Ticari for holding down the Ruby Jewel Fort while we were gone, Melissa who strategically planned a trip down to help. Melanie who took time off of work to join the crew, Ryan Burnett led us to the In-n-out closest to the Oregon border, Darren hosted us so graciously, and really showed us another side of Fresno, Kathy organized 3 kids in order to go to the airport and come out and join us for dinner, Blake for taking his first of the year vacation time to "work the show", (and getting up early AM to help us load the van, and... and... and....) JOJO- (can't believe I missed this one) Hooked us up for dinner at Bubba Gump in a serious way. And it was GREAT! THANKS JO! Mom and Dad were of course there for support (really it wasn't all about the 5 bags of samples), Sean for trying to guide us to good food in SB (kitchen closed smile ), Zachary for making the most amazing unforgettable pizza in the world and for front row seats to watch the show, to Merrit who so graciously gave up a really comfy bed with vineyards in the backyard, and a 78' bottle of yumminess (and for having a massage therapist for a roommate), and Becky Becky for working so so hard with so much Ruby Jewel passion. All of these wonderful people and to the many who had their first Ruby Jewel Experience. Here's to Ruby Jewel's contributing to the joys in life! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!
