4.30.08 The “Going East” Road Trip

Well, it's obviously much easier for me to "blog" on the road. I just can't seem to commit to the weekly Ruby Jewel blog in my "normal" life. So, I am in Coeur D'alene, Idaho. It's beautiful here. I left Portland at 6:00 AM this morning, stopped in Hood River, Walla Walla, Lewiston, Moscow, and now here. Quite a day of driving. At least it wasn't snowing as Weather.com told me. I was even looking at flights to LA as I convinced myself it would be better to spread the world and do demos as Ruby Jewel's should soon be hitting the shelves down there! Yahoo!. But, by far the greatest addition to my trip is the "friend" I bought at Costco. I haven't given it a name yet. But, I am in love- sorry Blake- I don't really know how I have lived without the GPS system. Really. It's making the trip so nice and easy for me. Tomorrow- I will eat at Hudson's burger before I head to Missoula to see an old college friend, Angie (and her kids). I am excited to see Montana as I have never been before. I'll be back tomorrow night. - PS- I need to send my whole hearted wishes to Heather and Aaron in Princeton, NJ. They are experiencing a total tradgedy that occured couple weeks ago that NOBODY should ever have to go through. I am so so sorry to both of you and your family. You are all in my thoughts. I hope to touch base with you soon.
