4.28.08 Taste of the Nation- recap

What a great night. It was our first time participating in The Taste of the Nation. We RAN out of ice cream sandwiches and that has never happened before. Really, we always have too much at events like this. We also ate, drank, and met tons of great people. What a great event. I have to thank Ticari (pictured below with me and Becky) and Julie from Baker and Spice for all of the Vanilla bean shortbread cookies I left with. Seriously the PERFECT amount of salt. Yummy. And the great Pork sliders at Simpatica Dining Hall (maybe I am a little biased... smile but the fried pickles- Oh boy. We will definitely be participating every year- pink umbrella and all.
