5.6.09 Denver Trip- May 2009

Hello- O.k. I LOVE THE SUN. I just do. I live in Portland, and love it but... I LOVE SUN. And Colorado has lot's this week. YAHOO. It's great ice cream eating weather, all the more reason to be sampling and selling ice cream sandwiches. So far I have done 3 demos, introducing the goods to the Rocky Mountain states is great fun. I used to live here- Steamboat Springs and Denver for a few months when I went to culinary school. There is a real healthy vibe here, like people really spend lot's of their time outdoors. It's very inspiring. Last night I had a great dinner at Potager- http://www.potagerrestaurant.com/ with some deal old friends (no- I am not saying THEY are old smile ) I am staying with my college friends Rob and Heather- always a good time staying with them. They are awesome hosts! I experienced my very first Smash Burger - http://www.mysmashburger.com/ and was quite impressed. I am a bit obsessed with a great cheese burger. Tomorrow I head up to Boulder, and the following day to Ft. Collins. Come say hi!
